After completing his higher secondary education in his native Vatakara, Siddeeque embarked on a career in healthcare as a hospital manager in Kerala (Brothers Clinic & Nursing Home – Perambra, Calicut). His dedication and hard work soon led to a change in profession as medical representative in various locations in the region. In February 1981, at a time when modern amenities were scarce and technologies like smartphones were unimaginable, he set foot in Kuwait to further his career.

There he started his career with Al Juma International Corporation, an import-export company. Later, he moved on to Atkins Overseas Limited, a UK-based Consultant company. He also worked with Saudi Arabian Texaco a US Saudi joint venture Petroleum Co, Kuwait Maritime & Mercantile Co. (KMMC), and EQUATE Petrochemical Company during this period. However, later he took a break and pursued higher studies in Business Management in the USA, aiming for knowledge and expertise, ultimately earning an MBA and a PhD in Marketing Management.

to the Sultanate of Oman, where in 2018 he started his own medical group, Hala Medical Centre. This bold step led him to take over Fortic Clinic in Hawally, Kuwait, in December 2023. Currently, he serves as the MD of both ventures.

Beyond his professional achievements, Siddeeque has been deeply involved in social activities, starting with his early days in Kuwait. His contributions to various sociocultural organizations, including Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre Kuwait (KKMCC), Muslim Educational Society (MES) Kuwait Unit, Federation of Indian Muslim Associations (FIMA), and more, reflect his commitment to community welfare. It is noteworthy that FIMA was instrumental in bringing eminent personalities and leaders to Kuwait. Few among them are Justice Fathima Beevi, Justice Sachar, Former Minister of Civil Aviation CM Ibrahim, Activist Teesta Setal- vad, Veteran Journalist Vinod Dua, Harsh Mander IAS, N Ram – Chief Editor of Hindu, former DGP RB Srikumar and Dileep Kumar, to name a few.

Noteworthy is his role as the General Secretary of the Rajiv Gandhi Awards Committee, where he played a pivotal role in organizing the historic visit of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi to Kuwait.
During the Iraqi invasion in 1990 followed by US Iraq war in 2003, Siddeeque served as Indian Embassy warden, quick response team member, and a mem- ber of the Kuwait Civil Defense Committee, offering support to alleviate the community’s sufferings.

His association with media organizations, including Deepika Daily newspaper and Asianet, spans three decades, contributing genuine and credible news stories. The three decades of association with the Deepika news network continue till today, and the media house was privileged to have the first ac-credited Indian media from the Ministry of Information, Kuwait.

Siddeeque Valiyakath’s notable accomplishments include personally greeting HH Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, the former Amir of the state of Kuwait. He played a crucial role in serving the community members during the Amnesty period, demonstrating his commitment to humanitarian causes. Additionally, he organized and led the first ever free medical camp in Kuwait, a significant initiative facilitated by MES Kuwait Unit. Furthermore, he reported on the historic visit of HH Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah to India from June 14 to 19, 2006. His media contributions extend beyond national boundaries, as he has covered numerous important international events, showcasing his dedication to keeping the community informed about global developments.
Awards and Accolades
Siddeeque’s dedication and contributions have not gone unnoticed, earning him accolades such as the Gulf Malayalee Excellence Award from the Indo Arab Confederation Council, Kerala – India (2003), the Pravasi Ratna Award from a Non-Resident Indian Organization based in the UAE (2007), and a Life Time Achievement Award from the Rotary Club at the Houses of Parliament, London, UK (2018).

Born on June 2, 1956, in Vatakara, Calicut, Kerala, Siddeeque inherited a legacy of ambition and enterprise from his late father, Fakhruddin, a successful businessman, and his devoted mother, Fathima, a housewife. He is happily married to Jameela, and they have five children, Jaseena, Jasira, Jasmine, Jasim, Dr. Jamseera. Their family stands as a testament to harmony and achievement, with each member making significant contributions in diverse fields including HR management, IT, academia, and healthcare. In laws are Abdulla Nalu- purayil, Salim Kottayil, Shamseer Mukkolakkal, Sherin Ahmed and Dr Mohammed Basheer Naha blessed with grand children Mohammed, Huda, Nayeem, Zahra, Jasmeer, Fathima, Sofia Nourin, Sheza Fathima, Mohammed, Faizan, Faiha, Hessa and Haya. Each individual is an integral part of the family, collectively embodying a spirit of accomplishment and collaboration.
